CARE COMMISSION REPORT.zz Currie Nursery has now had it's first Care Commission Inspection (May 2010), which we are pleased to report, went well. The Officer particularly liked the clean, bright and well resourced playrooms, the high quality staff, and good staff-child interactions, the large and well used gardens which are easily accessed by the children, the happy and content children and positive atmosphere. All parent questionnaires returned to the Care Commission, indicated that parents are very happy with the service. Well done to Laura and the Team, we look forward to seeing the published report soon!
The Care Commission concluded that 'Currie children's nursery provides a good quality of care for the children and their families. They have put in place a number of important systems to ensure that they work with parents and carers. Parents have indicated that they are very happy with the level of care their child received at the Nursery'.
Parent comments were: 'Good level of nursery provision with a strong emphasis on outdoor based activities'
'In the time I have had my son at this nursery his development has come on leaps and bounds. He loves the nursery especially getting involved in the activities. I believe he has settled in brilliantly and I loved the way the nursery tried to work round the routine we have put in place for my son instead of improvising a new routine'
'I find the Currie Nursery a good establishment. My child is very happy and really likes the staff in his room. I also find the staff very friendly and helpful if I ever need to ask questions. The staff are kind to the children and always seem to have a smile on their faces. So far I have never had a problem getting my son to go to Nursery, which makes life a lot easier'. |
